The time of the sacred spirit beings who created the Earth. There are many hundreds of beautiful myths and legends in Australian Aboriginal culture. These stories not only tell of the creation of plants, animals, the land and people, they also establish a social structure to the society, giving them rules to live by and teaching the people how to care for the land. I grew up reading them all voraciously, and I have always felt very connected to them, in my own non indigenous way. I wrote this in 1977, when I was still 17 years old.
I am playing all 7 guitars on this track including my 21 string harp guitar via the gift of multi tracking.
